And who can blame her, I have always had a problem with paparazzi shots of celebs, even though many fans stil love seeing them, so here I leave it to Vanessa Hudgens to tell you her view on it:
Hollywood actress Vanessa Hudgens recently revealed that she feels trapped by the paparazzi, as they are too ‘obnoxious and invasive’. Hudgens and Zac were photographed as they passed time in their Sydney Hotel room.
“I mean, put yourself in my situation: people who you do not know taking pictures of you in your own room!” The Daily Telegraph quoted Hudgens, as saying. “It’s obnoxious and invasive, and I don’t know why they would do it,” she added.
And if that wasn’t enough, Vanessa is now being tracked down by her fans on her own private number.
Vanessa Hudgens is shocked that her fans are able to get hold of her private telephone number. She explains, “Every now and then you get a call where you don’t know who it is.
“If it’s an unknown number I usually don’t pick up but sometimes I forget and you just hear screaming. My parents have even got calls in the middle of the night. Someone will call and say something like, “Hi, it’s Hannah Montana. Is Vanessa there?’ Or something dumb like that. I don’t know how they get these numbers.”
According to a few news reports Lucas Grabeel is the best thing in the HSM series of movies:
Springfield native Lucas Grabeel, who plays Ryan Evans in “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” is getting nice mentions by national critics, his manager, Robert Thompson, tells the News-Leader. In reference to the movie’s main cast, the Daily Variety says Grabeel is “still the most talented of the bunch.”
A review in Newsday, while describing song and dance numbers, has this to say about the 2003 Kickapoo High School grad: “Grabeel is the best thing in the film.”
Grabeel has missed promotional events for “HSM3,” says Thompson of Los Angeles, because he’s in Korea shooting a movie for Sony Pictures. The schedule may also prevent Grabeel from participating in premiere events for his next big screen movie, “Milk,” starring Sean Penn. It opens Nov. 26.
Could the smiles and happy personalities we see on the big screen all be an act? Well probably not, but in Australia many fans have been left upset and angry at their favourite HSM3 stars after the Mekbourne Premier:
HIGH School Musical 3 stars have slighted many local diehard fans by dumping the gifts they were given at their Melbourne premiere. Adoring teens - some who had waited 12 hours just to catch a glimpse of their screen idols Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale - showered the stars with toy kangaroos, koalas, and bunches of flowers as they strolled the red carpet at the Jam Factory on Wednesday night. But the presents quickly fell by the wayside, palmed off to nearby minders almost as soon as they were accepted by the stars.
They happily posed for photos with fans, and repeatedly thanked them for their support. mBut as soon as the formalities were over, it appeared they were a little less interested in listening to what their fans wanted to say. Efron and co rushed through their in-cinema speeches, and quickly escaped the complex via a back door, not giving the gift stash a second look as they left the complex.
Village Cinema staff said they felt so bad for the fans they hid the toys and mounds of flowers in a storeroom out of sight. A Disney spokeswoman yesterday said she was unable to comment. Some fans yesterday hit online forums accusing Hudgens of being ungrateful.
In an earlier interview with the Herald Sun, she said she had struggled with “obnoxious and invasive” paparazzi in Sydney earlier this week, and she battled with being in the constant spotlight.
Efron, Hudgens and Tisdale - who impressed the Herald Sun with their down-to-earth attitudes during a series of one-on-one interviews - left Australia and headed home to Los Angeles yesterday morning.
So we knew these pics were coming, it was of course the Melbourne Premiere of HSM3 on the 12th and here are thegorgeous pics of the cast for you, although I’m not totally loving Vanessa’s dress, almost revealing a bit too much??
yesterday we had our first Aussie photocall and today it the Sydney Premier pics. The pics are great although maybe the cast could have looked a little happier in some of the pics inmy opinion - especially Zac who looks a little unhappy, but still well worth the look:
If like me you keep breaking out into songs from HSM3 at random moments, help could be at hand as Disney have released the singalong version of the movie in Theatre’s across the US:
Just two weeks after the movie release, Disney is launching the singalong version on November 7 at 125 movie theatres in the United States. “We felt that the (’High School Musical 3?) movie’s huge base of enthusiastic fans would really embrace a singalong version,” President of Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group, Mark Zoradi said.
The sing along version to the flick is historical in itself, as it is the 1st time Walt Disney has released a sing along version of any flick. The ‘High School Musical: Senior Year 3? has already earned 146 million dollars at the worldwide box office.
Honestly these are some of the most gorgeous cast shots I’ve seen, and it’s not surprising since they are in Sydney, Australia. Zac, Vanessa and Ashley are in Australia for the upcoming premier of HSM3 and this shot is a photocall. There are 24 stunning HQ’s in the gallery, the following are previews:
Well according to the poll we have been running, it looks as though the majority are not interested in a fourth installment of the movie without the original cast. So, will the Disney experts be able to get any of the cast back for a fourth time? It doesn’t look like it, sadly. So anyway here are the current voting results:
A massive 244 of you said No, you wouldn’t be interested. Thankfully the vote is fairly close with 179 saying they would still watch. Then there’s the 148 of you that can’t decide. I guess all we can do is wait and see what Disney come up with.
So are you in Australia, well if you are then you may be interested to know that the HSM3 Premiere is Wednesday:
On-and-off-screen couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, along with their costar BFF Ashley Tisdale, catch a flight to Australia via LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday night. The trio is headed down under for the premiere of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which will go down @ 6PM local time Wednesday at Melbourne’s Village Jam Factory. Disney alerted police and hired 28 security guards to control the frenzied fans! HSM3 opens in Aussie theaters on December 4.
Sorry for not updating in a few days, I had some problems to fix, but back now and we have a great short interview with Corbin Bleu and Ashley Tisdale for you:
Have you ever wondered how it would feel to be famous around the world? We decided that the best folks to answer this question would be young people who are about as famous as it gets right now. So we found two who are starring in the nation’s hottest movie, “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.”
Corbin Bleu, 19, who plays Chad, and Ashley Tisdale, 23, who plays Sharpay, were happy to tell us about the moment they realized they were famous and how it affected them. Tisdale said she remembers realizing how famous she was when she went to a Cheetah Girls concert at a big theater in Los Angeles. At the concert, she ran into Zac Efron, who plays Troy in “HSM,” and they talked. Kids recognized them. There was so much screaming that both had to be taken backstage.
“They were chanting, ‘Ashley, Ashley.’ I thought Ashley Simpson was in the audience,” Tisdale said. Now, she said, she is recognized wherever she goes, but she doesn’t mind when kids ask her for autographs. And she doesn’t try to hide who she is. What she likes, she said, is getting to do the kind of work she always wanted to do. “It has given us a lot of opportunities to work and travel,” she said. “The fans are so amazing.”
Bleu says he realized he was famous right after the first “HSM” movie came out. He was in Hawaii filming a television show and took a break to go to a carnival. He said he got “mobbed.” “It was very weird but very fun,” he said. When he wants to go out and not be recognized, he ties his hair back and pulls a hood over his head. But, like Tisdale, he doesn’t mind being approached by kids. “I’ve always kept a pretty sane head about it,” Bleu said. “I am all about the work I do. Not about being famous.”
We already had the movie stills from HSM3 added to the gallery by the previous owner, but I realised that some were really small so now just for you I have added 24 HQ stills to the gallery so please do head on over and check them out, plus we have some new one’s added!
